The challenge
An existing Laravel ecommerce application needed more reliable payment handling, checkout improvements and fixes around payment gateway behavior.
Engineering approach
I worked inside the existing Laravel application instead of forcing a rewrite. The payment flow was reviewed from checkout through gateway responses, application state and user feedback. Stripe and PayPal related logic was improved together with supporting interface fixes.

Outcome
The result was a more dependable payment flow inside the existing ecommerce codebase while preserving the application architecture and business logic already in production.
This case study intentionally avoids invented client metrics or confidential business details. The focus is the engineering work and product problem.
